Proud to Announce:

May 1st, 2023 –  A dream of artist housing will become a reality for the Hubbard Hall Center for the Arts and Education, thanks to a state $279,000 matching grant announced in April.

The grant from the New York State Council on the Arts, part of $42 million awarded for small- and mid-sized capital projects at state arts and cultural organizations, “just opens up floodgates to our ability to serve,” said our past Executive and Artistic Director David Snider. By providing housing for visiting artists, the arts center will be able to expand its artist residency program and host visiting artists for performances and other events. October 10, 2022 – A $10,000 grant funded by a regrant partnership between the Preservation League of NYS and the Arthur F. & Alice E. Adams Charitable Foundation, towards our new HVAC system. This project is now complete.

 

April 12, 2022 – Its First Program Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts in Support of Artist Residencies!

 

 

April 5, 2022 -$86,000 in Capital Funds from the New York State Council on the Arts towards a new HVAC, sound system and audience seating.  NYSCA’s Capital Funds will allow Hubbard Hall to update its heating and cooling systems throughout its buildings, purchase and install a new sound system in its main stage space, and purchase and install new audience seating.
