Children’s Theater Ages 5-7
Directed by Shawna Martinez
Over the course of two weeks, children ages 5-7 will have the opportunity to develop and perform their own original play based on a variety of books they will read during the program, bringing their unique and original ideas to life onstage. Through theater games, arts and crafts, and other hands-on activities, the students will work together to hone their artistic abilities, culminating in a fun performance for family and friends.

Over four weeks, students explore acting, singing, and movement while rehearsing a fully staged musical with costumes, lights, and music. This fun and supportive program builds confidence, teamwork, and performance skills—whether your child is new to theatre or ready for the spotlight.
Production: Once Upon a Mattress – Youth Edition
A hilarious and heartwarming twist on the classic fairy tale, filled with clever humor, memorable characters, and lively music.

Teen Theater Ages 13 -18

This four-week immersive theatre experience brings teens together for games, collaboration, music, and rehearsal culminating in a fully staged musical production with costumes, lights, and music.
Production: Hadestown Youth Edition
A spellbinding folk opera following Orpheus and Eurydice, inspired by classic American folk music and vintage New Orleans jazz, filled with hauntingly beautiful songs and timeless themes of love, faith, and defiance.

Afternoon Arts Ages 5 -12
Directed by Shawna Martinez
Each week focuses on a different theme (past examples include Nature, Under the Sea, Superheroes, Fashion, etc.). Through a series of fun in-door and out-door activities, games, and storytelling, kids spend the afternoon creating characters and learning new artistic skills. Join us! (Children participating in a morning Theatre program should bring a packed lunch.)

Our Summer Internships and Fellowships offer hands-on experience for students and emerging artists seeking meaningful, career-building engagement in the arts.
Internships (High School Students) – Gain hands-on experience in arts administration, production, marketing, and more while supporting Hubbard Hall’s performances and events.
Fellowships (College & Emerging Arts Leaders) – Work alongside Hubbard Hall staff on producing, marketing, and managing a full season of arts programming.
