It was a lovely evening of Irving Berlin as we welcomed back the Seagle Festival to Hubbard Hall. This world-class festival brought you a cabaret of Cole Porter in 2019 and a new opera focused on the experience of members of the military in 2018. To learn more about the festival, click here.
Seagle Festival is the premier opera and musical theater producing organization in the Adirondack region of upstate New York, as well as the oldest summer vocal training program in the United States. In 2021, Seagle Festival celebrates its 106th Anniversary Season.

Hubbard Hall presented a world premiere! In a surprising, fun, haunting and delightful evening, Jean Tafler portrayed Margaret Hamilton, whose Wicked Witch of the West has left an indelible mark on us all. Much Ado About Nothing and As You Like It

It was two evenings of great Shakespeare in the Park as we showcased two of the Bard’s best loved comedies! Presented outdoors by the Will Kempe’s Players, the company that brought the much-beloved production of Hamlet to Hubbard Hall in 2019.
Much Ado About Nothing was on Saturday, August 28 at 6pm and As You Like It on Sunday, August 29, 2021
Held outdoors on the Hubbard Hall Great Lawn. Just Off Main and Washington Streets in Cambridge, NY.

Hubbard Hall Presented Tablao Flamenco

Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana showcased the pride and power of flamenco in Tablao Flamenco, featuring an international cast of dancers and musicians. Named after the wooden floor used by a bailaor/a (dancer), tablaos are intimate venues that harness the highly improvisational and virtuosic nature of flamenco. Originally known as cafés cantantes (which became popular during the mid- nineteenth century in Spain), tablaos are still among the most popular places to see flamenco today. Tablao performances offer audiences a rare opportunity to feel the artists’ emotions up close and experience the dynamic interplay between the dancers, guitarist and singer come alive. The energy is explosive as artists are inspired by one another and the freedom to take risks and embrace spontaneity. Watch the promo video

A series of discussions about the state of the arts in 2022, including issues of equity, programming, audience engagement, funding, and working as independent artists, facilitated by David Andrew Snider, lecturer in the arts administration program at Skidmore College, executive & artistic director of Hubbard Hall, and author of the new professional playbook Managing Arts Organizations. Cambridge Pride 2022
June 11th, 2022, held on the Hubbard Hall Great Lawn
The 2nd annual Cambridge Pride celebration was held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 12 pm – 5 pm and included local musicians, local eats, and great company! Great eats provided by Coffee And and Round House Bakery. We had a talented line-up of local musicians and had performances by the Ginger Roots, Shannon Tehya, Alli Sargent, Daniel Stevens, Dan Costello, and Debe Dalton. We will also had a range of informational tables such as Cambridge for Social Justice, the Cambridge Valley Rescue Squad, 4-H, the Cambridge Public Library, and many more. We enjoyed sharing space and creating community with you!
