Life on the Farm: Funny Songs & Stories with Farmer Tom Walsh
Wednesday, July 12, 6:30 pm at Hubbard Hall
Farmer Tom Walsh entertains and educates by bringing an understanding and knowledge of farming, farm culture, farm safety, farm animals, vegetables, and history through interactive fun songs and stories from down on the farm. With story and song, children learn about the importance of working together, Reading, Math and Science in the raising of farm animals, vegetables, and other activities on the farm!
Brain Circus with Marvelous Marvin
Wednesday, July 19th, 6:30pm at Hubbard HallMarvelous Marvin’s Brain Circus begins with a rhyming overture about brain health and its links with exercise and reading. Then we join the circus and feel our brains grow! We learn circus skills: juggling props, balancing sticks, spinning plates, flip-and-flyers, hula hoops, rhythm sticks, and romper stompers.
Draw Your Own Cartoon Characters with Paul Merklein

Do you like to draw? Do you want to create your own cartoon characters? Cartoonist Paul Merklein will show you how! Merklein draws famous cartoon characters and shows you how drawing cartoons is a fun, fast, and easy way to express and share your ideas. Once again, Kelvin Keraga hosts an evening of creepy and chilling tales, told by some of the region’s best storytellers! It’s a great mix of great stories and the proceeds from the show will go to help Hubbard Hall’s Arts Education Scholarship program. This program helps to ensure that no student at Hubbard Hall is ever turned away from a class based on financial limitations.
Hubbard Hall-o-ween Monster Mash Ball
October 28 at 7pm
Hubbard Hall-O-Ween moves INSIDE the Hall this year for a Monster Mash! Costumes are encouraged as you dance your way through spooky corners and delicious treats like Apple Cider and Pumpkin Bread will surely please all members of your party from the tiniest trick-or-treater to the strongest super hero.

If you’d like to support Hubbard Hall and give/ get some great perennials for your garden, come to our annual perennials sale. People who bring freshly dug perennials to donate may begin “shopping” any time after 7 am, otherwise the shopping begins at 9 am and is mostly done by 11. There will be knowledgeable people on hand to help you make good choices for your particular site and garden needs. These are the best bargains of the season AND you help Hubbard Hall keep art and community happening.
Rites of Spring Gala

Join us for our annual Rites of Spring Gala, our biggest fundraiser of the year and a time to come together and celebrate our swing into spring! There’ll be, as always, a delicious dinner by Sal & Piper Catering, a silent auction for some amazing prizes, gorgeous music provided by David Cuite’s Freight Yard Quartet and a relaxed atmosphere of community and camaraderie.
