The Puppet Club is a loosely associated group of individuals — children, teens and adults, ages 8 to 88– who produce and perform 2 or 3 short plays per year under the direction of Carol Serotta. While some dedicated puppeteers return to participate many times, beginners are always welcomed. Type and construction of puppets is somewhat different for each play, ranging from marionettes to masks, from hand puppets to full body parade puppets. Emphasis is on innovation and individual invention using very low-cost or free materials is encouraged. We typically have one fall session and one spring session each 6-10 weeks meeting weekly.
