I am Virginia May Edinger.
I am an actor, writer, musician, director, singer, songwriter, dancer, and student as well as a volunteer, program counselor, assistant teacher, and all of the aforementioned at Hubbard Hall.
I first got involved at Hubbard Hall as an audience member at age 6, a dance student at age 7, and a Youth Theater Company participant at age 9. I’ve been hooked ever since.
What I love about Hubbard Hall is its sense of family, friendship, community, and acceptance, its wide array of course and production offerings which appeal to any and all artistic interests, and perhaps most importantly to me, its ability to nurture the arts in young generations and equip them with skills to take wherever they go.
If someone was thinking about getting involved here, I would say “do.” I have had some of my fondest memories and my biggest breakthroughs on this campus. I have experienced so many different art forms through immersion and education here. It is important to enrich our lives with creative expression. Here, art is not only accessible to us, it is activated within us. Hubbard Hall catalyzes artistic growth and exploration.
I am zealous.
I am unstoppable.
