The Cambridge DepotA Journey Through Time

The Cambridge Depot is a lovely, historic passenger depot built in 1901. The building retains many of its original features, including 20+ foot wainscot ceilings, walls and many original windows and doors. The Depot opened as a tasting room for Argyle Brewing in 2017, showing us the way to create a community space where everyone is welcome, and friends are made.

The Cambridge Depot began its life as a bustling train depot, a vital hub for travelers and goods. Over the years, it has been lovingly transformed into a vibrant pub, preserving its historic charm while embracing a new role as a community gathering place. Today, it stands as a testament to the rich history of Cambridge, offering a warm and inviting space for locals and visitors alike to enjoy a pint, a meal, and a moment of connection.

The new owner Sara Kelly, is well known in Cambridge. She decided to make this her “retirement adventure”. She loves to tell you about the Depot’s history. Sara is an artist in her own right, and has been a staple in Cambridge’s thriving art community. She is confident she has found a way to fill the hole in Cambridge’s life after the sun goes down along with her enthusiastic staff and community supporting her.  Hubbard Hall is excited about the possibilities of some great collaborations!
